Today marks the beginning of a new adventure for us. No, we will not need our passports although feel free to go wherever your heart desires. We will embark on an exploration of our common thoughts and perceptions. While this journey's first step begins with me, the plan is for all of you to join me on this path.

The Hispanic Experience will be a trail of compassion we create together. A route navigated by stories from or about our fellow Hispanics neighbors in hopes that their words will provide readers the opportunity to better understand and embrace this cultural community. To serve as a gateway of inclusivity that we extend to all diverse communities. That while we are all beautifully unique, we are also powerfully similar. We are all people. As simple as that sounds. People that share common fears, passions and dreams. Let us embrace that.
